CUPPING THERAPY is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin to mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing. This is an indirect fascial modality that helps break down scar tissue, relax muscles and increase local area circulation which is frequently reduced with chronic inflammation and old injuries.
GUASHA THERAPY is a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped to produce light bruising. Gua sha releases unhealthy elements from injured areas and stimulates blood flow and healing. Again, as an indirect fascial technique it helps with old injuries and the break down of scar tissue.
CHINESE MERIDIAN AND ACCUPRESSURE THERAPY The Meridian system is a traditional Chinese medicine belief about a path through which the life-energy known as “qi” flows. Meridians are the route of viscera and body surface. They can promote circulation of blood and energy, connect the viscera and extremities and communicate with the interior, exterior, upper and lower areas. Whole Meridian Massage Therapy a simple and effective method with no-side effects for curing a sub-healthy state, is easily accepted by the people in a sub-healthy state.

MAGNESIUM OIL THERAPY Magnesium is a beneficial mineral that offers a variety of healing effects, according to Shirley’s Wellness Café. Magnesium oil is a form of the mineral that may be used to rejuvenate the body and assist in healing certain ailments. It is important to supply your body with an adequate level of magnesium, as a deficiency may result in symptoms of anxiety, restless leg syndrome, sleep disorders, nausea, low blood pressure and weakness, among others. Iman teaches Magnesium Transdermal Supplementation through Massage to RMT’s in Nova Scotia.
SHOCKWAVE THERAPY – FOR PAIN MANAGMENT A shockwave is a “high powered sound wave”. Shockwave Therapy sends acoustic shockwaves into bone or soft tissue, in effect re-injuring the area on a cellular level and breaking up the scarring that has penetrated tendons and ligaments. The controlled re-injuring of tissue allows the body to regenerate blood vessels and bone cells. The resulting re-vascularization leads to faster healing, a chemically induced decrease in pain and sensitivity of pain receptors, and often a return to pre-injury activity levels. Success rates are very high for cases of tennis elbow, golfers elbow, plantar fasciitis, patellar tendinitis, calcific tendinitis and many other muscular conditions as well as chronic/old injuries that tend to not respond to other treatments.
Iman is the first RMT in the Halifax region trained by Shockwave Canada in this modality.
